Feral Beast Flies Fearlessly

It's easy to get carried away when you're the pilot of a whirling, noisy, insect-like RC helicopter that's equally adept hovering around a yard, zipping through a living room, or buzzing your neighbor while he's mowing his lawn. That said, Hobbytron's AH-64 "FERALBEAST" 4-channel Apache RC helicopter isn't easy to control at first, with rotation, directional movement and lift all having to be mastered before the factory-assembled toy will behave itself. After a few hours of experience, however, we subconsciously adjusted to the problem and suddenly the chopper turned from awkward plaything to devilish aeronautical contraption. With a 30m ceiling and a flight range of 20m, it's probably the most fun a guy can have with a battery-operated toy.

! Fast. Scary to everyone except operator. Hovering capability great for enclosed areas. Sturdy controller. Simple set-up means you'll have it in the air seconds after taking it out of the box. Free replacement blades-you'll need 'em after your first few crashes.

# Lightweight construction materials make chopper flimsy. Battery discharges fast, limiting range. It's a mini Apache attack helicopter, where's my mini minigun?
