GN Netcom have taken the wraps off two new headsets, the Jabra GO 6400 and Jabra PRO 9400 which, apart from offering Bluetooth and DECT connectivity respectively, also sport base stations with integrated touch screen displays – something GN Netcom are keen to point out as being an ‘industry first’.

Featuring 2.4″ captive touchscreen displays which offer end users intuitive access to functions such as phonebook and volume adjustment, as well as easy switching between calling methods (such as switching between mobile, landline and VoIP based calling), the new headsets come with dual microphones with Noise BlackOut technologyas well as PeakStop (to ensure users are protected against volume spikes) and Intellitone technology with serves to normalise sound levels.
The Jabra GO 6400 and Jabra PRO 9400, both of which support Caller ID and which offer dock and charge convenience, are set to commence shipping from September with pricing starting at around $200.
