Leading handset manufacturer, Nokia announced the launch of three new phones named C3, C5 and E5 in the Indian market yesterday. Through the new phones packed with the latest features the company plans to target more young people in one of the fastest growing telecom market in the world.
The Nokia C3 features a Qwerty and support for quad-band GSM 850/900/1800/1900. The handset offers access to social networking sites, WLAN and Java support. It also offers other multimedia entertainment options like MP3 player, QVGA landscape display and a 2 Mega pixel camera and utility features like Flash Lite. It supports Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR for connectivity and the phone can support memory card of upto 16 GB capacity.
The C6 has a TFT 3.2 inch touch screen that gives a resolution of 640 x 360 pixels. It offers a qwerty keyboard along with a UI. As for connectivity solutions it offers WLAN or HSDPA. Its camera has a resolution of 5 mega pixels with Auto Focus and LED flash. Users can find locations through inbuilt A-GPS and Maps.
The E5 model offers full messaging keyboard and support for EGPRS, WCDMA, HSDPA/HSUPA and WLAN along with UPnP, Bluetooth 2.0 +EDR. It has a 2.36 inch QVGA display and a 5 Mega pixels Full Focus camera. As for locations specific usage it offers GPS and Ovi Maps 3.0. The phone can be connected through USB 2.0.
The C3 will cost Rs 5500 while C5 is expected to cost about of Rs 16000. The price of E5 has not been disclosed as yet.
